I wonder
Has anyone done
A serious study
At the effectiveness
Of a ribbon campaign?
Everywhere
One looks
There's 1001 ribbons
Proclaiming their cause
And pleading.
Many of them
Affect my
On a personal level.
Other then
A temporary
"Feel good" sensation
By the wearer
Has anything changed?
Want to say
"Yes"
But reality says
Otherwise.
The curse
Of being
A pessimistic-optimist.
