Those Awkward Moments (April 28, 2016)

Like a child
She ask questions
Of those
Around her.

Which
Leaves them
Feeling uncomfortable
And totally confused
In the manner
How to respond.

A few simple words
That challenges
Their world view
To the core.

As they wait
For her
To leave.

Before
Feeling safe
To release
Their held breath.

Falling back
Into their comfortable
Daily rut.
