Accepting Reality (August 23, 2018)

You demand
I surrender
To your Truth.

Regardless
Diametrically opposing
Personal/political values.

Branded
Antithetical heretic
Condemned sinner.

Sight-dogmatically blinded
Eyes-Heavens above
Walking-feet affixed
Mortal plane.

What if
You're wrong
In male-centric
Orientated world?

Male enforce
Nigh death-then life
Forgotten life's passion.

Rejecting change
Slipping reality grasp
Corruption institutized.

Paradigm shift
Only solution.

Yeah, what if they're wrong? And what if you were safe? In that case, I might even feel sorry for one so stuck in
"Male enforce
Nigh death-then life
Forgotten life's passion."
Someday, maybe ....

We need that paradigm shift, for certain! Well pondered, my friend. And congrats on 3000 posts! Yay!

This all boils down to the fact that by their muscular strength men usurped the principal role from woman who were the carers and providers and most importantly the child bearers of the human groups. This humiliated men so they overpowered women and their sympathizers by brute force and that mind set sadly still exists today. It also exists in politics too and only in recent years (apart from some exceptions) have we seen women leaders.

Whoever hurts another is definitely on the wrong path. So the question "What if / You're wrong" stands. Nice thoughts. Love the close.

Anyone who expects another "to surrender" to their truth makes me cringe. Not just because the thought is inconceivable to me. But also, because that sort of thinking is so very dangerous... for the one is being aimed to.

I agree, nobody has the right to point fingers and judge a person.. everyone's life and journey is different.

I enjoyed your poem, Therisa. Seek truth! Yours, is all that matters in life.
